Impromptu Paragraph Writing

Choose one of the following topics on which to write a clear, specific, well-constructed paragraph. Be sure to have a strong topic sentence and adequate development, with examples or full explanation. Do some sort of prewriting, using any method you prefer (on the computer or with pen and paper). Prepare at least one preliminary draft. Then prepare a final draft. Be sure to proofread the printed copy of your final draft carefully. Save the preliminary draft as "Paragraph 1 draft" (without quotation marks) and the final draft as "Paragraph 1 final" (without quotation marks). Thus, you should submit three separate items at the end of class: prewriting, preliminary draft, final draft.

1. The one feature of Conley's Honky that you most liked OR most disliked.

2. One kind of food that you like best at your favorite restaurant.

3. The one quality you most value in your best friend.

4. The one most important reason that you find saving money difficult.

5. The one feature or quality of a recent movie that you liked best.

6. The one most important reason you think you are living now the best years of your life.

7. The one most important reason you think your life will be better in the future.

To be submitted by the end of the period:
