GRK 111: Introduction to Koine Greek I

Course Description

Introduction to Koine Greek is an introduction to the “common” (koine) dialect of ancient Greek with a special emphasis on the vocabulary and syntax peculiar to the text of the New Testament. The first semester focuses on basic vocabulary, morphology, and syntax, and emphasizes sight reading skills.

 

Prerequisite/Co-requisite: None. Normally offered: Every Other Fall.
